What's MY Summer? Day 2!

Hello, all! I'm SOOOO SORRY that I'm late! I got a wonderful surprise in the form of a couple of unexpected shifts this week, plus my internet is down, so I'm sitting in my car outside of a coffee shop posting this for you very impressed that I'm not getting anything- I just got off a night shift!

Ok, on to more important matters! As always, if you've stumbled onto this hop, congrats! Go to Ashley's Scrappin Palace to find the beginning! Yesterday we all saw some pretty terrif projects, didn't we!?! I love getting inspired by other people like that! Today we've got some more amazing projects for ya! Here's the official hop list for ya, in case you get lost...
Tracy (ME)
Amanda (Next!)

One of my favorite things about summer is going to the Zoo! We live about 15 minutes away from our beloved Portland Zoo, so we get a pass every year and go all throughout the year! We had an amazing trip not too long ago, on one of our precious "Wow, this is what summer will be like!" days! We don't get very many of those, so EVERYBODY was at the zoo!

Though it was pretty crowded most of the time, we got there pretty early and had a...well, I can't come up with just one word to sum up how awesome an experience it'll see. Anyway, we had fun with the lions, so I just finished up a layout to highlight Kya's playful morning!

Animal Cracker stack, DCWV
Assorted solid paper
Assorted Inks
Grosgrain Ribbon
Stickers and embellishments from Animal Cracker line, DCWV

I hope you enjoy this project, and get a little inspiration to 1.) GO TO THE ZOO! (early!!!) and 2.) Scrap your fun memories!

From here, you should head on over to Amanda for more Hoppin' Fun!

What's MY summer? THIS IS!!! (Day 1)

Before we begin, here's the list for the hop:
Tracy Me...
Amanda Up Next!

Like everyone on this hop (posting and participating!) I can't wait for summer. I've been working on this project for quite awhile now, and it's really gotten me excited about all of my favorite things! Of course, this is my "10 Things I Love About Summer" summer project! Here goes...

The cover is a flip flop! I decorated the heck out of it with ribbon, and put the title on an Action Wobble! It's so cute- I wish you could see it in person.

Each of the pages in this mini album have one or two tickets on it, listing some of my favorite things! Each of the pockets has a space on the front that I can't wait to put pictures in! My fiance` and I are still in the midst of decorating the tags, so pardon that there aren't any close-ups of those.

The flowers are all made of the same DP as the rest of the album- I just kinda curled the edges, punched the centers for brads, and Stardust-ed up the centers!

I also used my stardust pen randomly around the edges and used my Smooch Pearlized Inks to spruce up some of the dots and flowers on the pages. I hope you liked my project! I hope you'll leave a comment with your thoughts.

Scrapbookaholic by Abby Challenge #2!

Ok, this time I'm NOT going to miss the deadline and not be able to enter the challenge! I've got the perfect project for the "Anything Spring" challenge! Here it is:

This card FEATURES Sweet Cheeks Stamps By Ashley's Scrappin Palace! This is from her Spring in Bloom line, and I LOVE it!

I really love the way this card came out- especially the Fairy! I made her using Once Upon a Princess, cut at 3 1/4, I think- and I used most of the parts for one of the princess dresses to make her look more like a fairy!

I hope you like my card! Thanks, Abby, for hosting this challenge!

Until next time...
