When my best friend, Ashley, asked me to be a stop on her blog hop, I knew I had to make something super special! I made two projects: a card and a gift tag.

The Card:
I started out with my brand new(I FINALLY got this for Christmas- I've been abusing Ashley's!) and FAVORITE cartridge, Create-a-critter! I'm really quite pleased with how this Birthday card came out...especially the glittery cheeks and toenails!




Recipe:
Pig: Create-A-Critter, cut at 3 1/4
Accessories: from the tiger on the next page also cut at 3 1/4
Scrap cardstock in pinks and purples
Cuddlebug embossing folder
EK Success edge punch
Fiskars stamp
brads
Pop Dots


For the Tag:
I thought I just needed to make more party animals while I was at it, and this is what I came up with!






Recipe:
Create-A-Critter: cut at 3 1/4
Accessories: Hat from the Tiger, bag from the snake; both cut at 3 1/4
"Just for You": Phrase option for the Snake
scrap paper, and yellow Swiss Dot paper
Googly eyes
Recollections Yellow flower eyelet
Pop Dots
Red ribbon
White Gelly Roll Pen
Metallic Silver Gelly Roll Pen
Stardust Gelly Roll Pen


Now for the BLOG CANDY! I've got a few card packs, some stationary and a notepad, all from Studio G in the Bohemian collection. They're so cute, and just bursting with spring fever!

    My BFF is Margaret aka Sage. She introduced me to the cricut and papercrafting conventions.
    We do crops at her house cause she has the perfect table for more than one person to work at.

    A fact about my BFF - she is from Virgina but is in FL and longs to be back in her VA home - she misses it terribly. Love her!

    The pig and pinwheel are just adorable!! What a super cute card. My bestie and I met over the internet just over a year ago. She lives clear across the country from me, but we talk everyday. She is an avid paper crafter and we enjoy this hobby together.

    Sweet card and ssssssweet tag with the snake. My BFF went to school with my oldest daughter and I would help with parties and such. I have her as a little girl on videos but really didn't know her that well. Then she grew up and had children and I grew older and had a Granddaughter that went to school with her children and we met up through the PTA and because best buds. She started scrapping with me but then life got in the way...kids grew up...but we talk just not scrap.

    I agree with you! Those glittery toe nails are the cutest!! :) My BFF is not one for crafting, but she's still pretty awesome :) For me, while growing up it was hard to make friends that last because my father was a career marine and we moved alot. But I met Shannon in fifth grade, and through all of the moves that came after, through me going to college, getting married, and even becoming a mommy, we have stayed in touch and our friendship has lasted :)

    That card is just too too adorable! My BFF random fact is that we have know each other for 45 years. We met in "Stewardess" (that's what we were called in those days) training. She is still flying and I flew for 35 years! Wow!

    My BFF... is actually my Mother. She supports me in everything I do and Loves to craft also, just has no time for it right now. But let me tell you, when she retires... oh boy am I getting her started. LOL
